THE PLACE TO WATCH OUR PUPPIES GROW
From deposit to puppy pick up day, the wait for your very own RedTeddy Poodle puppy can seem like FOREVER, especially for children. Luke's Page is a place to see unedited moments in the daily lives of all our dogs and puppies.
When videos aren't enough and you need a bigger puppy fix?
RedTeddy is looking for empathetic and caring co owners. Requirements include lots of time and energy, indoor & outdoor spaces, and, perhaps most of all, a high tolerance for chaos without compromising play and learning opportunities. For details visit Co-owning with RedTeddy .
RedTeddy regulars Sara, Priscilla, Midnight and Sparky playing.
Boo, Sunny, Little Bear, Spooky (weeeell, Spooky is a bit of a 'plus size'), and Billy are RedTeddy Toy Poodle puppies.
Below we can see how the pack "work" together to raise puppies. Play is essential to their healthy development. Our Lab is helping by playing with a herd of puppies whose mother, Blaze, no longer wants or needs to nurse them. She is a wonderful mommy even here when she tells them to 'get lost', teaching them it's time to be more independent from her - all dogs need to listen when another dog wants o be left alone, just like little kids need to give their caregiver a break sometimes: While it may seem mean to have mommy growl and nip them for approaching, it is an important part of the pup's socialization training. Thank goodness for Sara the Lab, as well as Leo, the dad, all contributing to the good feeling and playfulness that makes these pups well rounded happy little explorers!
Very young puppies, already such happy little characters!
We think all this apparent chaos is good for our puppies... doesn't this remind you of kindergartners or preschoolers coming in from recess??!
